Mrs. Hamlin's A&P Class has been studying the cardiovascular system. Class guest speaker was our very knowledgeable nurse Mrs. Heather. She walked the class through how to read an EKG. The students are also able to trace the pathway of blood through the heart and discuss the electrical pathway.

Taylor Ramos was named to the 2023-2024 TABC 1A All-Region Team and the TSMCA All-Region Girls Basketball Team. Please congratulate her the next time you see her.

Prior to spring break, students participating in Junior High TMSCA have been hard at work. These students have attended qualifying meets in Pecos and Crane in addition to the regional meet in Abilene. In order to qualify for the state competition, students must hit a qualifying score based on their grade level and events that consist of Number Sense, Calculator Applications and Mathematics. Between the 3 qualifying meets we attended, 10 students qualified for the state competition. In addition to these students qualifying for state, many awards, ranging from 1st to 10th, place have been received. The following students have qualified for the state competition in at least 1 event:

Bella Escajeda - Calculator Applications

These students will compete at the University of Texas in San Antonio on April 13. We are very proud of the commitment and hard work these students have put in to achieve this goal and we look forward to seeing them continue to succeed.
