The 10-1A Rankin Lady Devils will take on the 11-1A Robert Lee Lady Steers Friday, February 16th at 6:00 PM at Garden City High School for the Area Championship. Rankin will be the Home team. Ticket prices will be $3 and $5. Senior Citizen Passes, District Passes, and Coaches Association Passes will be honored.

The 2023-2024 JH Lady Devil Basketball Season is officially over.
The JH A Team were District Champs in the regular season, District Tournament Runner-ups, and finished with a record of 10-3 overall.
The JH B Team were District Champs in the regular season, District Tournament Runner-ups, and finished with a record of 7-2 overall.
Overall, Coach Casey and I were very proud of all the girls. They did a great job representing our school and community. They have a bright future ahead of them. On behalf of all the girls and coaches, we thank all of you for your support throughout the season.

It is Counselor Appreciation Week, and today we celebrate our District Counselor Misti Tucker! Misti wears many hats including social counseling, academic advising, and scheduling. She is a hard working individual with a passion for helping others "figure it out". She has a big heart and loves to see students succeed in whatever avenue they choose. We are thankful for all the work she puts into Rankin ISD. "How Sweet It is to Have a Counselor Like You!"

February is CTE Recognition month and Rankin ISD has some of the best CTE programs in the State! Our district has one of the most diverse collections of offerings for schools our size and larger. Students have the opportunity to learn in several areas beginning at the junior high level and throughout their high school career. Those programs include Robotics, Cosmetology, Welding, A/V Production, Health Therapeutics, Nursing, Business, Education & Training, Law and Public Service. Several students actually complete two programs! Several students also take advantage of earning a certificate within some of the programs that are offered. We also offer CTE classes as general electives such as Financial Math, Dollars & Sense, Nutrition, Sports & Entertainment Marketing, and Social Media Marketing. Thank you to the RISD board for allowing our students such a tremendous opportunity and thank you RHS teachers for your dedication to quality education that prepares our students for life after graduation.
