The Rankin ISD Board of Trustees is excited to announce the Lone Finalist for Superintendent as Mr. Shaye Murphy. Mr. Murphy currently serves at Gunter ISD in the Chief Administrative Officer (assistant Superintendent) role. He was raised in Slaton, TX and has 22 years of experience in education with 17 of those being in leadership positions. Mr. Murphy brings a wealth of experience in financial management and instructional leadership, as well as a focus on community and building relationships. We look forward to formally welcoming him not only to Rankin ISD, but to the Rankin community as a whole.

The 10-1A Rankin Lady Devils will take on the 11-1A Robert Lee Lady Steers Friday, February 16th at 6:00 PM at Garden City High School for the Area Championship. Rankin will be the Home team. Ticket prices will be $3 and $5. Senior Citizen Passes, District Passes, and Coaches Association Passes will be honored.
