2025 Testing Schedule
Dear Rankin ISD students and parents,
As you are probably aware, there is a slight chance for bad road conditions in the morning. Our goal is to always have school as scheduled, but student and staff safety is our top priority. At this moment, I feel like we will have school at a normal start time; but that could change if the weather forecast changes for the worse. Just so you know what to expect, we will be following the procedures below.
+ Between 4:30am and 5:00am, school personnel will drive the roads and highways to check road conditions.
+ At 5pm, we will also get information from local agencies about road conditions.
+ We will then determine if the road conditions are safe for our busses and for our parents and staff driving to school.
+ If we determine the road conditions are unsafe, we will either delay school until 10:00am or cancel school for the day. We will send a message out through ParentSquare by 5:15 and then it will be posted to Facebook shortly after.
+ If you do not receive a message by 5:30, we are having school as normal.
Even if the road conditions are not bad, it will still be really cold. Do your best to stay warm and safe. If you have any questions or concerns, please call my office at 432-693-2461. I will get to my office as early as possible tomorrow.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
Rankin High School Student Council adopted a grandparent. Student council members purchased stocking stuffers for the Adopt-A-Grandparent project. Adopt-A-Grandparent is for Rankin senior citizens to receive a little Christmas cheer. The RHS student council and Ms. Martinez (sponsor) were able to give 48 Senior Citizen a gift.

Mylee Van Meter was named to the 2024 TGCA 1A Academic All-State Volleyball Team and 2024 TGCA 1A Academic All-State Volleyball Team. Congratulations to Mylee! We are very proud of her on the court and in the classroom!
