Rankin ISD leaders help other leaders learn and grow, too!
Mr. Wyatt and Mrs. Rinehart presented to aspiring superintendents this week at Region 18 ESC about Politics in Education. They shared about the incredible work happening in Rankin ISD and how rural school districts can influence state and federal politics.

Registration is now open! On site help available at High School today, July 21 & Thursday July 22nd 8:30 am - 3:30 pm and Friday, July 23rd 8am - 12 noon. Please remember ALL students must register for school.

Attention: Incoming Pre-K & 7th Grade Student’s Parents
Pre-K- These students are at the age for their 4-year booster vaccines. If you have not already done so, please get their vaccinations and an updated copy of their shot record to the school. 4 year boosters cannot be given until after your child’s 4th birthday. If your child has a late August birthday, please have them current by the first week in September and a copy of the updated vaccination card to the elementary office.
7th grade- All students starting 7th grade this year will need to get 2 booster shots. A TDAP and an MCV4 are required. The HPV vaccine is optional. These need to be done and a copy of the updated shot record to the school by September 1st.
If you are taking your students to the Rankin Medical Clinic, you will have to call for an appointment as they only do immunizations on certain days. You are required to bring a copy of your child’s immunization with you to the appointment. If you need one, please contact the school and we will print you one to take with you.

Rankin ISD is seeking Substitute Teachers for the 2021-2022 school year. Applicants must have a High School Degree and be able to pass an extensive background check.

Congrats to De'shon Goodley, Justin Rodriguez, and Emily Bunger. These athletes will head to Wichita Falls next week to prepare for the Texas Sixman Coaches Association All Star games. De'shon and Justin will represent the West on Saturday, July 17th at 7:30pm in the Division 1 Football Game. This game will take place at Memorial Stadium. Emily Bunger will represent the West in the Girls Basketball game at 12pm on Saturday, July 17th at Midwestern State University. Good luck to these athletes!

Congrats to Benjamin Rios and Hayden Loftin! These two athletes capped off their HS 6 man football career with a big win in the Brazos Bowl All Star football game held in Strawn on June 26th. They were the first Rankin athletes to compete in this game. Both players have had successful Football Careers here and Rankin and represented our community well! Good luck to them and their future endeavors.
