Rankin ISD will be providing school supplies and backpacks for all students. Elementary students will be permitted to bring their own backpack if they choose to. If not, a clear one will be provided.

After 38 years with Rankin ISD, Tracy Clanton is officially retiring as the Maintenance and Transportation Director. Tracy began employment at Rankin ISD in 1986 as a general maintenance employee. He became the Maintenance and Transportation Director in 2000 and has remained in that position for the last 24 years. During his time at Rankin ISD, Tracy has been instrumental in the construction of a new High School, a new elementary, football field renovations, track field renovations, and countless housing projects and renovations. Rankin ISD will miss his expertise and knowledge. We wish him well in all future endeavors!


All shirts ordered from Rankin Varsity Cheer are ready for pickup. Shirts can be picked up at the high school office Wednesday, June 19th, & Thursday, June 20th, from 7:30 a.m. - noon. For other pickups, please contact Jaylie Gibson at jgibson@rankinisd.net

Rankin ISD would like to introduce our new golf course superintendent, Branden Phillips! Branden comes to us from Quicksand Golf Course in San Angelo, TX and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience. Branden and his family are excited to be in Rankin and looking to jump into not only the district but the community of Rankin as well. Please help us welcome them!
