Great Job Red Devil Debate Team!
Congress is an individual contest in a large group setting. It models the legislative process of democracy, specifically, the United States Congress. Within this mock legislative assembly competition, contestants draft legislation (proposed laws and position statements), and they research the docket of bills and resolutions dealing with real-world social and political policies prior to the contest to prepare their speeches.
Tucker will compete at the State Tournament on January 7th and 8th.

The 5-1A Lady Devils will play the 6-1A Veribest Lady Falcons this Tuesday at 6:00 PM at Sterling City High School for the Bi-District Championship. Rankin will be the Visitor. Ticket prices will be $3 and $5. District passes and Coach Organization passes will be honored.

Ms. Martinez's Spanish Class learn about the Day of the Dead holiday. They set up an "ofrendas" table to celebrate their loved ones.
Day of the Dead is a rare holiday for celebrating death and life. It is unlike any holiday where mourning is exchanged for celebration.
