1st Grade - Aria Steckbeck: Aria Steckbeck is a true leader. Her peers look up to her, and she works hard in both of our classrooms. Aria never shies away from a challenge and excels in critical thinking. It is fun to watch her wheels turning! Not only does she shine academically, Aria is also extremely kind and has a great sense of humor. She is truly a ray of sunshine, and we love having her as our student.
3rd Grade - Adriel Johnson: Adriel has the best attitude every day. She is very focused in all of her classes and always asks questions and does her best! Adriel is helpful to her classmates and teachers. She celebrates everyone's accomplishments and good moments! Adriel has a smile on her face all day long!
JH-Whitley Epperson:Whitley is an excellent student (excellent class work, in class engagement, interaction with her peers, very well behaved) she is a great kid. Whitley is one of the most caring kids I have ever met, as well as extremely intelligent in so many aspects. She is always leading by example, helping anyone in need, and a trustworthy friend to all. Whitley is a great student. She works well with others and always has a positive attitude regardless of the circumstances she is in. Whitley is a very responsible student. She is very pleasant in class and always strives for the best possible outcome in class and extracurriculars. Whitley is a joy to have around. She has a positive and upbeat attitude about learning new things.
HS- Tessa Eddleman: Her work in class is top notch, dedication to do things the right way, a very good friend, (she volunteered to get a student that is ill her in class work and take it to her. very trust worthy and reliable. I never have to worry about her in class. Quiet, positive leader who takes care of business in everything she does to represent Rankin! I also nominate Tessa Eddleman. She has persevered through some health issues and never misses any assignments. She is always a perfectionist and does her best. Very quiet, but a friend to all. She is kind and hardworking, someone who sets a great example for everyone around her. Tessa inspires trust and confidence. She leads by example with empathy and humility.
Employee of the Month- Shawna Drazic: Mrs. Drazic goes above and beyond to support students and staff. She approaches every day with a calm, caring presence. She listens fully, treats every student with respect, and celebrates even their smallest successes. Her kindness creates a safe, welcoming environment where students feel seen, valued, and supported. Whether she’s helping a student understand a task, guiding them through challenges, or simply offering a reassuring smile, she gives her best in everything she does.
Teacher of the Month- Crystal Amthor: Mrs. Amthor consistently ensures her students are prepared for the real world. She stays up-to-date on the latest and greatest technology and eagerly brings those tools, skills, and innovations into her classroom. Her instruction is hands-on, engaging, and tailored to students’ needs, helping them build confidence with digital tools that are essential for future success. Whether she is introducing new coding platforms, guiding students through digital citizenship, or teaching practical skills such as typing and software, she ensures every learner has access to meaningful, relevant experiences.
TCB AWARD: The Take Care Business award was awarded to two Employees that always go above and beyond to be an exemplary Red Devils. This month Kurt Hanna and Bobbi Templeton received the TCB Award. Congratulations to these two and keep up the good work!
