Students of the month:
K - Kennedy Rogge-Kennedy starts each day with a bright smile and a readiness to learn. She consistently follows the school's expectations like keeping her hands and feet to herself and follows directions the first time they're given. Kennedy is proud of her work and is truly a delight to have in class.
5 - Breadele Esquivel -Breadele has made so much growth over the years. She works very hard and turns in quality work despite the level of difficulty of the work. She comes to school with an awesome attitude and is eager to learn too!
8-Scarlett Dewitt- Scarlett is a great student. She always has a positive attitude. She encourages others and helps other students when they struggle. Such a helper. Always willing to do whatever she needs to in order to help others. Scarlett is hard working, positive, and a wonderful student. She is a leader, and takes on any role needed in the classroom. She is always so excited to show her knowledge, and share information with her classmates. Scarlett is very self-disciplined, a very mature, enjoyable student, and a student who represents Rankin very well. Scarlett is a great student, she is a leader type, engages in class discussions, she cares about her in class work.
Sr.-Taight Jackson- Taight is having a great senior year! Taight is a positive leader, always kind to others, earns great grades, and attends school regularly. Taight is responsible, hard working, and always has a smile on her face. She is a joy to have in class. Taight always has a smile on her face, always there as a friend, hard worker, responsible and very caring person. Positive leader!! Taight is such a positive and joyful person. Her personality is contagious. She works hard and always has such a kind demeanor towards others. Taight is an extremely hard worker who is always willing to go the extra mile. She always puts 100% into everything she does- and does it with a smile! Taight is an amazing young lady who tries to see the good in everything. She is a student who teachers can depend on. She always goes above and beyond whether it be band, UIL, classwork, or simply helping others.
Employee of the month - Amanda Gentry -Mrs. Gentry is a very dedicated paraprofessional. She is always willing to lend a helping hand and open to any new tasks set before her. She goes the extra mile for the students like dressing up as Ms. Frizzle during the bookfair or setting up engaging activities for the students while in the library.
Teacher of the month - Shasta Van Meter-Mrs. Van Meter is an exceptional teacher. She works diligently to ensure all of her students reach the highest level of success. She has a very kind and compassionate heart and takes the time to ensure she has a positive rapport with each student.
