The following students represented Rankin ISD very well this week at the UIL State Academic Meet. The Computer Science Team, Lathin Langley, Kayin Hanna, Kyden Gee and Kyina Gee, finished as the State Runners Up. Lathin Langley is the 1A State Champion and Kayin Hanna placed 3rd, individually. Lathin Langley also placed 2nd in Mathematics. Others competing in Mathematics include Kyina Gee, Nathan Gaddis and Fred Richardson. The Calculator Applications Team, Kyina Gee, Jayde Rivera, Kayin Hanna and Jr. Eufracio, were the State Runners Up with Kyina Gee placing 2nd individually. Mrs. Jones, Mrs. Gibson and Mrs. Wyatt are incredibly proud of these students and look forward to their future success in UIL.
