Mrs. Avalos's and Ms. Burk's class had fun learning with their alien projects. They wrote a descriptive paragraph about their specific planet. Then in science they talked about adaptations of animals. From here the students made an alien that could adapt to live on their specific planet. Some examples were tentacles to float on their gas giant. Some aliens had jackets because their planet was very cold. Others had eyes in which they could see very far away because their
planet is way out there in our solar system. Some students mentioned their planets were so hot so the aliens had skin that adapted to these temps. These 3rd graders worked hard and did an awesome job on their project.
